TO THE MEMBERS OF THE NATIONAL ETHNIC PRESS
CANADA DAY CELEBRATION
Dear
friends and Colleagues, Sisters and Brothers in the Ethnic Press and
Media: In less than 30 days from today, on the 1st of July, we
are celebrating Canada Day, as part of the great and liberal country of
ours we proud ourselves as citizens. This year, as in every previous one,
according to decision of the members of the Board of Directors of the
National Ethnic Press and Media Council of Canada, we will celebrate on
Saturday July 2nd, 2011. This
year’s festivities will take place at the McNeil Room of the
Whistler’s Place, at 995 Broadview Ave., Toronto East. The hall is
easily accessible by subway and cars. At the end of the Bloor’s street
Bridge you make a left turn (north) on Broadview and continue until the
intersection of Broadview and Mortimer. Exactly in the corner of the two
Streets is located the “Whistlers” establishment. There
is parking at the back of the building and the Hall is located in the
first floor. Mr. Steve Mastoras, the owner of the Hall, can be reached at

for the event are $ 15.00 dollars per person, this is the cost for the
food and two bottles of wine per table, pastries and coffee. The
Room has a maximum capacity of 250 persons. Tickets will not be available
at the door as we want to pre shell them before the day of the event. Any
member wants to participate please be in touch with Asha Rajak or Ned
Blair in order to secure your tickets. Tickets will also be available at
our next meeting on Monday June 13th, at 6:00 pm, at committee
room N# 2, Main Legislature building, Queen’s Park, Toronto Ontario. Contact
